Open Source India (OSI) is an annual event by the team at Open Source For You magazine in partnership with India’s Open Source community and industry—to bring various stake-holders under one roof. The mission of OSI is simple—to accelerate development and deployment of Open Source in India, and beyond. MOSIP had a stall at OSI with an objective of talking to as many open source enthusiasts as possible about MOSIP.
Prof. Rajagopalan presented MOSIP at the event where he touched upon both the economics of digital foundational identity, technology behind it and the functional architecture of MOSIP.
That kindled interest among the delegates to visit our stall and talk to us. The visitors included mostly developers, development managers, some CxOs and a few academicians and students. Some of the questions that were discussed were around the open source model, the security infrastructure, the demand for a platform like this and the technology choices made when architecting the platform.
