Lead the engineering team helping Governments around the world implement critical digital foundational identity systems using open source software. The Modular Open Source Identity Platform (MOSIP) is looking for a passionate hands-on engineering lead to build and lead a team of about 10 highly committed engineers. The work involves open source release management, automation, devops, creating customized pilots.
As a lead, you are responsible for
Hiring and retention of engineers into the team with the required skill sets.
Inducting and training the engineers to quickly ramp up on MOSIP.
Setting up engineering practices, processes, objectives and performance management in place.
Mentoring, training and upskilling the engineering team.
Regular tracking of work progress and motivating/helping them achieve the delivery goals efficiently and effectively.
Keeping the team productively engaged at all times.
Should be willing to travel for business reasons.
Minimum a degree in engineering with computer science as a major subject of study
8+ years of experience
Should possess experience in technically leading a mid-size team of about 10-15 people delivering products in an agile environment.
Should be comfortable with understanding low-level design and architecture.
Should have delivered projects/products in an agile environment
Must have experience dealing and resolving with customer issues post product delivery.
Should be capable of handling fast-paced releases within a span of 6-8 weeks.
