Consultation meeting on MOSIP with experts

International Institute of Information Technology – Bangalore (IIITB) conducted the first Consultation on MOSIP at Washington DC. The consultation was held on 5th September at the World Bank offices.

This consultation is the first of many to solicit inputs and recommendations to discuss various aspects of MOSIP and solicit inputs for execution of the project. This consultation brings together experts with wide experience in open source and identity solutions.

More than 50 participants attended the consultation. The attendees included representatives from various International multilateral organisations such as UNICEF, UNHCR, WFP, The World Bank, representatives from countries such as Nigeria, Philippines, Srilanka, and several dignitaries with expertise and deep insights in identity and identification solutions.

The discussions were fruitful and engaging. The deliberations allowed us to discuss various aspects of our project and obtain valuable feedback. It has paved the way for possible associations and long-lasting relationships with several organisations and individuals. IIITB plans to institute several such consultations in the future, and aims to be forge a global collaboration to bring about transformative change in the global identity landscape.
